Director Of Business Development
The Director of Business Development is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction in projects that are aligned with pursuing and achieving company goals.
Responsibilities :
- Identify product and market opportunities for the company to capitalize on
- Analyze new business opportunities by evaluating the current market, potential strategies, and related financials
- Aid in resolving internal priorities relating to multiple facets of the operation
- Establish objectives and goals relating to increased sales and business development
- Manage projects relating to product development and ideation
- Strengthen and cultivate relationships with Sysco OPCOs (operating company) and direct customers
- Assist in education, training, and development of the salesforce
- Provide guidance and act as a resource for all departments
- Work with Sysco regional marketing team to develop needed POS and marketing material
- Represent Buckhead Meat of Florida at approved trade venues through booth appearance / employee representation, scheduled product sampling, product demonstrations, and current / potential customer interaction

Position requires frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 Lbs.Works principally in an office environment with the frequent requirement to work in cold and wet conditions.Education :
Preferred : BS or BA Degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture / Animal Science, or related studiesExperience :
