The End of Line Operator is responsible for completing delegated tasks and handling scrap with dedication and proficiency to ensure customer satisfaction. This is a hands-on position that includes handling inventory, proper storage, and shipment transfer of material to the warehouse while adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures. This position works closely with the Line Manager.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for all activities and operations of the end of the line.
• Follow all procedures related to safety, process, and equipment for cutter and / or grinder.
• Fill out paperwork and conduct end of line SPC Tests every 30 minutes.
• Perform LT% checks every 15 minutes and make corrections if needed.
• Understand basic sheet faults and identify basic issues.
• Notify correct personnel of issues that may arise beyond ordinary occurrences.
• Inform the shift leader or line / operations manager of quality and process issues.
• Perform Appendix changes, including tape, PE, barcodes, AS / AF, etc.
• Replace tape and barcodes when they run out.
• Conduct length and width changes.
• Perform pallet changes.
• Create Inkjet messages.
• Enter orders in SAP.
• Perform other duties and activities as directed.

The company has 270 internal employees spread over three buildings. Employees work as part of a team running a line, which is managed as an individual entity. The company is growing significantly and is adding a new line to support this growth. There are opportunities to grow responsibilities on the line.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Smithsville, PA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.50 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
