M-F 10 hour shifts, will work at PVH and MCR for day shifts. Call requirements of 2 weekends quarter . 2+ years of recent E.P. registered nurse experience preferred. 2+ years of recent RN experience in any of the following will be considered : ED, critical care, cardiac, cath lab.

FTE : Full Time, 0.875, 70.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift : Days

Pay : $38.91 - $60.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary :

Provides direct patient care at a proficient level, in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Monitors the patient to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Responsibilities :

Performs functions before procedure, including preparing the environment, orienting and assessing the patient, and reviewing patient's medical record to ensure safety checklist are complete.

Responds to life threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment. Handles critical and highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure.

Provides nursing care in a technically complex environment.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and / or family and provides patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements :

• Registered Nurse

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and relevant licensure / certification as determined at position level.

6 months of RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.

ACLS within 6 months of hire. To be tracked on the unit- Upon training to scrub or working in the scrub role fluoroscopy operator license through CDPHE and RCIS / RCES within 2 years.
