Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing the accounts receivable processes including manual invoicing, verifying deposits, and resolving disputes. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling accounts receivable tasks in a fast-paced environment and will be adept at using Excel and large ERP systems.

Responsibilities :

• Submit and manage manual invoices.
• Verify incoming wire transfers, ACH, and deposit checks, recording receipts and deductions from major retailers such as Amazon and Walmart.
• Process EDI submissions and manage disputes, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Research and resolve chargebacks related to co-ops, marketing promotions, price claims, and shortages.
• Conduct internal and external follow-up for collections.
• Prepare accounts receivable and revenue reports for management, including AR aging reports.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Release orders from hold upon confirming receipt of payment.
• Calculate commissions payable to sales agents based on accounts receivable activity.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Work Environment :

The role is based in an open desk area, reporting directly to the AR Lead. The position is a six-month contract, primarily focused on handling accounts receivable activities related to Amazon and Walmart.

This is a Contract position based out of Gardena, CA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
