Schedule Details
We are looking for a full-time team member for evening shifts, including 8 or 10 hour workdays, Monday through Friday. Call duties are mostly overnight, with about 5-8 call slots and 1 or 2 weekend call slots in an 8-week scheduling window. You must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when on call.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a clean and efficient surgical environment, ensuring optimal patient care using aseptic techniques.Assist with a variety of surgical procedures and supply preparation.Ensure the operating room is ready for each case by moving and preparing equipment, and maintaining a sterile field.Function as a Second Assistant as needed, ensuring the needs of the surgical team are met.Manage the environmental disinfection and safety systems effectively.Handle patient transport and assist in positioning, always following proper lifting techniques.Demonstrate patient care knowledge that aligns with age-specific needs.Minimum Qualifications
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 6 months.No experience is required, making this a great entry-level opportunity.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures.Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.Proficiency with basic computer tasks.Physical Requirements
