Director of Nursing

Responsibilities :

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain the highest quality of care and meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes, improve efficiency, and enhance interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Foster a culture of safety, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement within the nursing department.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in nursing and healthcare management, and integrate them into nursing operations and services.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation, ensuring the efficient use of staffing, supplies, and equipment.
• Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
