Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing department, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain the highest quality of care and meet regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes, improve efficiency, and enhance interdisciplinary teamwork.
- Foster a culture of safety, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement within the nursing department.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in nursing and healthcare management, and integrate them into nursing operations and services.
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation, ensuring the efficient use of staffing, supplies, and equipment.
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's degree preferred.Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.Proven experience in nursing leadership roles, with at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience.BENEFITS
