Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse Internal Traveler to work on a Intermediate Care unit for their Oncology Stepdown unit for a 14 week temporary Weekend Night shift traveler contract. Does NOT require Chemo Cert.

$70 / hr! RN Traveler Temporary Position

Department / Position Overview

This unit cares for patients with cancer in an inpatient, 36 bed Intermediate Care Unit. We are hiring compassionate RNs to monitor physical conditions, prescribe medication, and administer chemotherapy and other treatments.The care that we deliver is dynamic! Our care includes but is not limited to :

Chemotherapy Hospice

Radiation Stem Cell Transplants / CAR-T

Radioactive Iodine Symptom Management

Education

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

Certification / Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS

Experience

Must have 2 or more years of recent acute care hospital RN experience
