Job Description
Seeking an experienced EDM – CNC Operator Programmer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in wire EDM operations and programming. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating Mitsubishi MV2400R and MDPRO3 machines, using ESPRIT software, and reading part drawings and blueprints. Responsibilities include machine programming, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaborating closely with the tooling team. This position requires a self-starter with strong technical skills and the ability to contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Duties
Program and operate Mitsubishi Wire EDM machines (MV2400R and MDPRO3) for precision metal stamping tool and die components
Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using ESPRIT software
Read and interpret detailed part drawings, blueprints, and engineering specifications
Set up workpieces, fixtures, and tooling for efficient and accurate machining
Monitor EDM machine operations and inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on EDM machines and troubleshoot mechanical or software issues
Collaborate with the tooling and engineering teams to develop efficient machining strategies and improve tooling processes
Maintain documentation of setups, tooling, and program revisions for repeatability and process control
Ensure proper use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
Continuously evaluate and improve machining processes to reduce cycle times and increase productivity
Requirements
3–5 years of experience operating and programming Wire EDM machines
Proficiency with Mitsubishi EDM equipment (MV2400R and MDPRO3 preferred)
Experience using ESPRIT or similar CAM software for CNC programming
Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, G-code, and tool paths
Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints
Familiarity with metal stamping tool & die applications
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
Capable of performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment
