Job Opportunity : Speech Language Pathologist

Amergis Staffing is looking for a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) that is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) to support in the Orange County schools for the upcoming 25 / 26 school year!

Requirements

  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of California (required)
  • Experience working in a school setting as a Speech Language Pathologist (required)
  • Valid CCC (required)
  • ASL Fluent

Desired Certifications

  • National Interpreter Certification (NIC)
  • Certified Deaf Interpreter (CDI)
  • ASL Level 4 or above

    • What We Offer

  • Monday Friday || 37-40 hours a week
  • Pay Rate starts at $75 / hour and goes up DOE
  • Travel package available to those who qualify!
  • Start date : Immediate interview via Zoom
  • Shift is between the hours of 7am-5pm (during school hours)

    • Responsibilities

  • Provides skilled speech therapy services / interventions to patients with speech, language and / or hearing deficits in accordance with physician orders
  • Assesses patient needs; plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions
  • Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient
  • Instructs patient / family / caregivers on patient's total speech therapy program
  • Other Speech Language Pathologist duties as assigned
