- Discounted and complimentary rates at Hyatt Hotels This role requires a mix of technical expertise, analytical skills, and a focus on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. As an AV Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to : configuring, troubleshooting, and ensuring these applications meet the needs of the organization. Setup / Maintain Equipment : You are tasked with setup, breakdown, and maintaining the physical Audio-Visual equipment. This includes group setup / breakdown, site visits, and colleague group events. You work with the Sales teams, and External Group Leaders to identify, and build setup packages. Collaborating with Department Heads : You work closely with department heads to address identified issues and trends. This collaboration aims to implement solutions that improve overall guest satisfaction and experience. Daily Inspection of Guest Areas : You conduct regular inspections of guest areas to ensure they meet expected standards of cleanliness, functionality, and service. This proactive approach helps in identifying potential issues before they escalate. Troubleshooting : You are tasked with troubleshooting audio visual issues that may arise within the local and networked environment. This involves diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions to ensure minimal downtime. You will work with a third-party vendor in order to accomplish these tasks. Qualifications :
- A post-secondary school degree / diploma in AV or hospitality with strong computer skills to ensure running of systems. 2 years of technical experience in and around Hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work with staff in all levels of the hotel to ensure the ultimate guest / colleague satisfaction.
- Working knowledge of basic IT infrastructure Servers, Workstations, AV equipment and controllers
- Professional demeanor, with exceptional verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
- Must be flexible with scheduling. Weekends or on-call may be required.
