Product Marketing Manager - Mortgage Solution

As a member of the product marketing team, you will be a leader in the marketing of industry-leading mortgage lending technology to financial institutions globally.
This role is critical in helping to shape the direction of product marketing strategy for our mortgage line of business, team development, and key corporate initiatives across multiple countries. This position involves owning the mortgage segment of the nCino platform to ensure a cohesive and innovative strategy. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and product development teams and be responsible for driving the strategy, messaging, market research, and positioning for our mortgage lending solutions. You will focus on driving continuous improvement to Product Marketing processes and tools. The ideal candidate has experience in Product Marketing for a B2B SaaS company, has mortgage lending / industry experience, and is looking to transform the mortgage industry and grow their Marketing career at a fast-paced, public technology company.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the nCino Mortgage Products and the end-to-end mortgage lending lifecycle
- Align with and drive success in exceeding nCinos annual revenue goals for mortgage solution line
- Channel the voice of the mortgage customerunderstand the pain points and aspirations of mortgage lenders, loan officers, processors, underwriters, and secondary market professionals
- Design and execute quantitative and qualitative research focused on mortgage lending trends, regulatory changes, and borrower expectations
- Work with Product Management to inform the multi-year roadmap for nCinos mortgage solution line
- Cultivate relationships with the nCino sales, marketing, and product development teams
- Build messaging framework for mortgage solution themes
- Work with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing leadership to develop Go-To-Market plans for major mortgage product releases
- Partner with the Marketing team to ensure successful communication strategy and execution for mortgage product releases
- Conduct competitor and market research specific to mortgage technology platforms
- Create market positioning for nCino mortgage products and solutions
- Build a deep understanding of mortgage customers and the market by conducting primary qualitative and quantitative research
- Create, define, and own the content machine for mortgage solution messaging and positioning
- Work alongside Sales to increase conversion rates with mortgage lenders
- Be able to proficiently demo the nCino Mortgage Point of Sale
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent combination of experience2+ years of experience in a Marketing role1+ years of experience in a Product Marketing roleUnderstanding of the mortgage lending process including origination, processing, underwriting, closing, and secondary market operationsProven success as a coach and mentor of marketersDemonstrated dedication to quality and continuous improvementAbility to motivate yourself and others, prioritize your own work, and adapt and thrive in a dynamic team environmentAbility to support qualitative and quantitative research from product strategy to campaign launchTrack record for collaborating in a fast-paced environmentProven portfolio of developing and coordinating impactful Marketing collateral including (but not limited to) presentation slides, brochures, feature documents, point of view documentation, FAQs, lead generation scripts, personas, target market definition, ROI models focused on mortgage efficiency gains, landing pages, videos, and other relevant materials to be used by marketing, sales, and business developmentAbility to identify, analyze, and communicate mortgage market trends, regulatory changes, and sales opportunitiesStrong aptitude for distilling complex mortgage technology differentiators and regulatory requirements into simple stories that resonate with mortgage lending customersExcellent project management skillsAbility to work with a variety of teams, gather input, synthesize feedback, and coordinate efforts across multiple areas of businessProven track record of conducting market and competitive analyses specific to mortgage lending to inform corporate strategies and campaignsKnowledgeable about or proven ability to learn quickly mortgage banking, housing finance, and mortgage technology trends and able to integrate that knowledge into our product and marketing strategyBonus Qualifications
Product Marketing experience for a Mortgage Technology or FinTech CompanyDirect experience working in mortgage lending operations (loan origination, processing, underwriting, or closing)Familiarity with mortgage industry standardsKnowledge of mortgage compliance requirementsExperience in Adobe Creative Suite2+ years of experience working with Salesforce CRM or comparable system3+ years Marketing Experience in the Mortgage or Financial Services IndustryRelationships within the mortgage banking communityPosition requires 10% travel (may include mortgage industry conferences and customer visits)

The pay range for this role is $58,700.00 - $93,900.00
