Essential Job Functions
- Trims trees; removes cuttings.
- Safely operates small tools and equipment used in edging, trimming or other capacities.
- Maintains landscape beds around golf course, clubhouse and club grounds.
- Rakes, blows and vacuums leaves.
- Prepares and lays sod.
- May be required to lift objects 50 pounds or greater.
- Rakes and cleans bunkers.
- Loads and unloads dirt, sand and other materials.
- Cleans any equipment used.
- Operates powered and un-powered walk-behind equipment.
- Helps with drainage projects.
- Cleans lakes, drains and culverts.
- Uses powered and un-powered equipment to trim grass, weeds and bushes.
- Waters plants and turf.
- Empties garbage cans.
- Attends daily staff meetings.
- Works weekends, Holidays and overtime, as required, to maintain the course and grounds in proper order.
- Performs any other appropriate tasks assigned by the golf course superintendent, assistants, landscape
Required Skills :
Must maintain a good attendance record in accordance with departmental requirements.Must work well with supervisors and all other employees.Understand that we are charged to provide the highest quality golfing experience in the state.Works weekends, holidays and special events as deemed necessary by the GCS and in accordance with the Club’s schedule.Carry out tasks and projects assigned by the Superintendent.Physical Demands & Work Environment Requirements
