About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its senior leadership team. The CFO will be a key player in overseeing all financial operations and planning, with a strong focus on ensuring compliance with relevant billing requirements. This strategic and hands-on role involves not only managing daily financial functions but also guiding the organization through significant system transitions and modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as a financial thought partner, engage in long-term organizational planning, and provide regular financial updates to the Board. Additionally, the CFO will be responsible for financial management and reporting, leading the budgeting process, and ensuring ongoing compliance with Medicaid and state billing requirements. The ideal CFO for the company will be a mission-aligned leader with a deep understanding of nonprofit finance and a passion for operational excellence. They should be technically proficient in nonprofit accounting, GAAP, budgeting, and financial forecasting, and have experience in overseeing Medicaid billing processes or managing other complex, government-funded service delivery models. The role requires a collaborative leader who is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, capable of supporting daily financial operations. While a background in developmental disabilities is valuable, candidates from similarly structured nonprofit environments with related compliance and staffing considerations will also be strongly considered. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact within a respected, community-oriented agency.
