Sr. Configuration Analyst (Mason)

Role Overview

The Sr. Configuration Analyst will serve as a key member of the Business Configuration Solutions team.

This position is 60% configuration work and 40% cross-functional meetings, requirement gathering, and project leadership .

The analyst will design, implement, and execute benefit configuration strategies, lead configuration projects, and act as a subject matter expert supporting large-scale Medicaid, Med / Surgical, and Medicare implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and represent the Configuration workstream in large Government Implementations (Medicaid, Med / Surgical, Medicare).
• Capture business requirements through cross-functional meetings with clients and internal teams.
• Perform configuration, troubleshooting, prototyping, and solution development for Medicaid products.
• Conduct data analysis and validation; scrub data (remove duplicates, errors, outliers).
• Build and run SQL queries to pull backend data for configuration needs.
• Document business requirements, create process flows, and execute testing for configuration tool enhancements.
• Support automated configuration toolsets, including EyeMeds internal Informatica-based tools.
• Perform Fit / Gap analysis for new client plans and provide actionable recommendations.
• Conduct claim testing using Facets and Oracle SQL.
• Manage and prioritize workload to meet SLAs and key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with leadership on roadmap deliverables related to automation and product / network configurations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners across EyeMed.
