Trilyon is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to lead and manage day-to-day kitchen operations at our client's healthcare facility. The Executive Chef will be responsible for designing menus, overseeing food production, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring that all culinary services exceed guest, patient, and patron expectations. This role requires strong culinary expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to mentor and motivate staff toward operational excellence.
The Executive Chef will also ensure adherence to HACCP guidelines, maintain compliance with Serve Safe certification requirements, and drive exceptional customer satisfaction through high-quality food service programs. As a senior culinary leader, the Executive Chef will guide kitchen operations, develop culinary talent, and contribute to both quality improvement and cost-effective food service management.
Key Responsibilities : Culinary Operations & Menu Management
Design, develop, and oversee daily menus and specialized dietary programs.
Ensure food production meets quality, taste, and presentation standards.
Maintain knowledge of culinary trends and implement innovative menu options.
Leadership & Staff Development
Lead, mentor, and motivate culinary staff in meeting departmental goals.
Provide instruction in all phases of culinary activities and guide process improvements.
Oversee scheduling, task assignments, staff training, and performance support.
Customer Engagement & Service Excellence
Interact with patrons, guests, and patients to determine food preferences and satisfaction levels.
Deliver high-quality customer service and implement promotional / marketing initiatives for food programs.
Food Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Serve Safe standards, HACCP guidelines, and proper cleaning procedures.
Maintain a safe, sanitary, and efficient working environment.
Oversee proper equipment usage, maintenance, and safety protocols.
Data, Reporting & Operational Management
Share responsibility for profit and loss accountability.
Interpret operational data, reports, and instructions to support decision-making.
Utilize Microsoft Office, CBORD Food Service Suite, and other food service applications to support kitchen operations.
Required Qualifications :
Associate's degree in Culinary Arts, Chef Certification, or equivalent experience / training
Serve Safe certification (SS-Serve Safe Certified)
Certified Dietary Manager (preferred or required based on site)
5 years of recent, relevant culinary leadership experience
Strong communication and leadership skills
Knowledge of food production, delivery systems, and safety requirements
Experience with food service applications such as CBORD Food Service Suite
