Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client, a dynamic organization in the biotech sector, is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-permanent opportunity. This role is ideal for professionals looking to leverage their accounting skills in a cutting-edge and innovative environment.

Responsibilities :

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Review, code, and verify invoices for accuracy, approvals, and proper documentation
• Resolve discrepancies and collaborate with vendors to address payment issues
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Assist with month-end closing and accruals related to accounts payable
• Maintain accurate records and vendor files
• Support audits and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to process improvements and other accounting projects as needed
