Vice President of Clinical Services

A growing Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation organization is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Vice President of Clinical Services to oversee clinical operations across multiple facilities in multiple states. This is a senior-level leadership role ideal for a seasoned clinical executive who is passionate about elevating care standards, driving quality outcomes, and supporting facility-level nursing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic clinical leadership across all nursing departments company-wide.

Oversee DONs, ADONs, and clinical teams at each facility to ensure consistency, compliance, and excellence.

Develop, implement, and monitor clinical systems, policies, and best practices.

Ensure regulatory compliance with CMS, DOH, and federal / state requirements across all facilities.

Lead quality assurance initiatives, survey prep and response, and clinical performance improvement.

Support staffing strategies, recruitment, onboarding, and retention of nursing leadership.

Analyze clinical metrics, quality indicators, and trends to drive continuous improvement.

Serve as a key resource to administrators, regional teams, and corporate leadership.

Promote a culture of compassion, accountability, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

Extensive long-term care experience with proven success as a DON, Regional Nurse, or CNO.

Deep understanding of LTC regulations, PDPM, infection control, QAPI, and survey processes.

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to travel between facilities as needed.

Executive-level judgment, professionalism, and decision-making ability.
