Job Summary :

M1 Support Services is seeking a Security Manager /

Contract or Program Security Officer to primarily ensure site

functions operate in compliance with the performance work statement, company policy, applicable Air Force Instructions

(AFIs), and industry standards.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Responsible for managing the security functions for a Special Access Program (SAP). Will work with the corporate Security

Manager as part of the M1 Security team.

  • Performs the duties of the

    • Contract or Program Security Officer (CPSO) / contract Security Manager, overseeing the security

    program to ensure employee compliance with security procedures, conducting training, briefings, debriefings, and maintaining

    records.

  • Provide Security Manager Support for the government operations squadron to include security training, processing and

    • compliance.

  • Verifies and processes security clearance packages and program access through the various government systems to include DISS,

    • JADE, NBIS, and other systems as needed.

  • Processes Program Access Request (PAR) and Site Access Request (SAR) requests and schedules briefings with the program

    • security office.

  • Works with the corporate Security Manager for file maintenance and maintaining the Industrial Security Program as well as

    • meeting the contractual requirements.

  • Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease cycle time and streamline workflow processes.
  • Will work with the Program Manager and Human Resources to ensure sufficient manpower is available to meet PWS

    • requirements.

  • Will be required to perform other related duties as assigned and assist other personnel and work centers as directed.
  • Will perform relevant additional duties, as assigned.

    • Qualifications and Experience :

  • High School diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five years' experience Industrial Security management and / or Special Access Program security management

    • experience for DoD contracts.

  • Knowledge of Special Access Programs and the ICD 705 standards, as well as the 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM Rule regulations.
  • Must be proficient in various government security systems such as DISS, JADE and NBIS.
  • Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
  • Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional and effective manner.
  • Must be reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines while maintaining a professional and non-

    • confrontational attitude.

  • Must possess a current valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • May be required to obtain, maintain a government driver's license. If controlled movement area (CMA) access is required,

    • individuals must pass a color vision test.

  • Must have a working knowledge of computers (input / extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word,

    • Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.

  • Position requires complying with unique commuting / travel requirements.

    • Working Conditions :

  • Environment ranges from office to hangar and flight line and requires extensive sitting, climbing, standing, stooping, bending,

    • pushing, kneeling, stretching, and walking demands.

  • May be subjected to no-notice drug testing surveillance per Company policy or Customer's direction to ensure a drug-

    • free work environment.
