Student Health Services has the mission of serving as the student’s initial contact for assessing health problems or concerns. Students are provided with reasonable quality health care for minor illnesses and injuries and are referred to specialists or consultants when necessary. Each healthcare visit is used as an opportunity for health education. Student Health Services provides student-centered medical and wellness services that are affordable and accessible. Utilizes a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to wellness and health care. Provides an environment of inclusion, respect, and appreciation of diversity. The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care services within the Student Health Clinic to support the physical and mental health needs of the student population. This role is responsible for safely dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, offering medication counseling and education, and contributing to public health initiatives such as vaccination campaigns. The pharmacist collaborates with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to promote safe, effective, and student-centered care.
