Student Health Services has the mission of serving as the student’s initial contact for assessing health problems or concerns. Students are provided with reasonable quality health care for minor illnesses and injuries and are referred to specialists or consultants when necessary. Each healthcare visit is used as an opportunity for health education. Student Health Services provides student-centered medical and wellness services that are affordable and accessible. Utilizes a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach to wellness and health care. Provides an environment of inclusion, respect, and appreciation of diversity. The Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care services within the Student Health Clinic to support the physical and mental health needs of the student population. This role is responsible for safely dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, offering medication counseling and education, and contributing to public health initiatives such as vaccination campaigns. The pharmacist collaborates with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to promote safe, effective, and student-centered care. Primary Purpose of the Position : Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Dispense and verify prescribed medications in accordance with legal and clinical standards.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, side effects, drug interactions, and storage.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, including DEA regulations and Board of Pharmacy rules.
• Maintain accurate and secure pharmaceutical records consistent with HIPAA, FERPA, and institutional policies.
• Participate in inventory management, including ordering, storing, and disposing of medications and controlled substances.
• Oversee medication storage areas to ensure proper labeling, security, and environmental conditions.
• Support immunization programs by preparing and / or administering vaccines (as allowed by state licensure).
• Provide drug information and guidance to providers and clinic staff as needed.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to medication safety, emergency response, and infection control.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure readiness for accreditation reviews (e.g., AAAHC).
• Support continuity of care, including coordination with off-campus pharmacies and healthcare providers.

Working Conditions :

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements :

CPR certification (BLS)
