Category Analyst

Summary

RNDC is looking for a skilled category analyst to join our growing team. The category analyst forms retail and

supplier alliances in order to implement effective category management business processes to satisfy

consumers, meets retailer and supplier objectives, and grows business.

In this role, you will

  • Compile, maintain, analyze, and present market, customer and internal company sales data

Perform analytical research of syndicated market and / or retail data to effectively evaluate wine and spirit

performance in the market

  • Evaluate category, sub-category, and product level findings to present to management

    • Provide space planning projects including management of schematics including on-site scanning of existing

    store layouts and remodels

  • Capture and edit digital images and create custom presentations for internal and external customers

    • Maintain a wine and spirits category database

  • Design sales aides for managers and sales staff
  • Provide general assistance and administrative support to the Business Development - Category

    • Management Team

    What you bring to RNDC

    Knowledge of : graphics software (such as Corel or Adobe Design), and order processing systems (such as

    ProSpace, Logility, Microstrategy, and etc.) or the aptitude to learn; analytical or scientific software; database

    user interface and query software; enterprise resource planning ERP software; project management software.

    Bonus if you bring

    Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university

    One to two or more years related experience with an alcoholic beverage wholesaler or supplier
