SYSTEMS NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR Support Systems Associates Inc. is a privately owned, nationwide company that specializes in engineering, logistics, production, and management services to both Government and industry. Our corporate office is located in Melbourne, FL and a facility in Warner Robins, GA Our Melbourne facility includes office and manufacturing space to support production and maintenance of mission systems and aircraft modification kits in addition to a variety of logistics inventory needs. This operation is currently executing multiple programs with electrical fabrication, back-shop avionics equipment repairs, testing and final assembly. Our Warner Robins facility is located in The Park off Russell Parkway and includes office and some light manufacturing space to support production and maintenance of systems similar to those in our Melbourne facility. This operation is currently executing multiple programs which provide engineering and logistics services for the modification of aircraft. SSAI is certified to AS9100. SSAI’s core capabilities include mechanical, electrical, and electronic design, test, avionics engineering, software engineering, aircraft modification design / installation, modification kit production, and related logistics services. Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned tasks. JOB DESCRIPTION - Administers computer networks, maintains hardware, systems software and licensing requirements

  • Troubleshoots Active Directory, diagnoses, and resolves network and computer system helpdesk tickets
  • Configures and setup Firewalls, VPN Concentrators and other network appliances as required
  • Assists in continuous monitoring of network performance to determine if adjustments are required
  • Understanding of NIST SP 800-171 and DFARS 252.204-7012 security controls and network requirements preferred
  • Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations
  • Configures, monitors, and maintains email applications and virus protection software
  • Configures, installs, and tests computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
  • Administration of mobile devices, website updates, SSL / PKI Certificates - Monitors and resolves internal IT Help Desk Ticket requests US Citizenship EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE BS / BA in a computer science related field preferred. Minimum five years' experience. Occasional travel may be required. CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred. Must have or be able to acquire a Secret level clearance.
