We’re now seeking an experienced

• Non-Executive Director
• with proven expertise across
• engineering, automation, and digital transformation
• to join our Board.

This is not a compliance-focused role. It’s a hands-on opportunity to guide how Hewitt evolves its

• operations and technology platform
• for scale, reliability, and long-term performance.
• Key focus areas :
• Providing strategic insight on plant design, automation, and capital projects to support scalability and efficiency.
• Guiding enterprise technology and digital transformation priorities that drive operational and commercial performance.
• Championing the integration of engineering and digital systems — connecting automation, ERP, and analytics.
• Advising on risk, governance, and investment decisions where technology and manufacturing intersect.
• Collaborating with the CEO, CFO, and operational leaders to align technology and engineering strategy with business growth.
• About you :

You’ll be a former senior executive (COO, CTO, CDO, or Head of Engineering) who has led both operational and technology transformation in complex manufacturing environments ideally food, consumer goods, or other supply-chain-intensive industries.

You bring a commercial mindset, practical insight, and the ability to translate technical opportunities into business outcomes. You’re comfortable operating in a founder-led SME environment and thrive on working closely with leaders who are building something enduring.

• What you’ll bring :
• Proven experience leading multi-site or large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of automation, capital project delivery, and asset optimisation.
• Understanding of enterprise systems, digital enablement, and cyber risk. xklufbp
