What We Need
GPS Insight is looking for an IT Generalist to join our IT team. Please note this role is located onsite at GPSI's North Scottsdale headquarters, supporting the office Monday – Friday. The ideal candidate would work closely with the VP of Operations and the IT team to manage key aspects of GPSI's technology practice, including :
IT Helpdesk and Technology Infrastructure Support
- Work within ticket-based system to assist GPS Insight staff with hardware / software issues
- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for all computing and communications systems (computers, monitors, phones, headsets, printers, etc.)
- Desktop hardware procurement, standardization, management, support, security policy enforcement, and automation
- Configure and deploy laptops and workstations for staff; ensure the ongoing health of technology assets
- Microsoft 365 and SentinelOne management and alert remediation
- Automation of routine support activities (patching, desktop provisioning, etc.)
- Create and maintain documentation of relevant policies, procedures, runbooks, and infrastructure
- Following approval processes to authorize purchasing of licensing for users
- Assist in maintenance of network infrastructure : firewalls, switches, wireless access points
Application and User Management
Assist with administration of IT systems, including Microsoft 365, RingCentral, Slack, NetSuite, etc.Collaborate with the HR and Security teams to create and implement IT-related on-boarding and off-boarding proceduresWork within ticket system for centralized user and permission managementProvision access in various for new users and remove access for users exiting the companyIT Audit Support
Maintain and audit IT asset and software license inventoryAssist with monthly documentation gathering for SOC 2 complianceAudit and report on user permission and access levelsSpecial Projects
Support VP of Operations and CISO with other IT duties as neededYour Experience
You are a hands-on professional, outgoing, and proactive, with strong written and oral communication skills and can balance time-sensitive requests and long-term strategic priorities. Above all, you exhibit an exceptional customer service mentality, have strong relationship-building skills and are excited to build and implement IT processes and systems. You thrive on minimal supervision and love seeing things to completion.
To excel in this role, you likely bring the following experience to the table :
At least three (3) years' experience providing companywide IT support, including working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune, SentinelOne, Windows 10 / 11, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Entra (Azure AD), network printers / multi-functional copiers; light firewall and switch exposure considered an assetComfortable with Microsoft PowerShell including core Microsoft modulesExperience in a Entra conditional access & passwordless environmentStrong customer service focus and great interpersonal skills to interact and maintain productive working relationships with employees at all levelsH igh attention to detail to find issues, follow processes and deploy settingsEffective communication skills to review company policies with users and explain why they may or may not be able to do / purchase something.Passionate about technology, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a continuously evolving environmentMacOS experience and support considered a strong assetExperience using remote desktop tools to support remote usersExperience deploying / supporting enterprise IT tools, specifically MDM tools (Intune), automation tools, and digital security toolsFamiliar with employee onboarding / offboarding and application access controlSelf-motivated and accountable for seeing tasks through to completionHaving or working toward Microsoft or Apple certification is desirableWhat We Offer
