Adjunct Instructor - Educational Technology

Lakeland University, a liberal arts institution, seeks a qualified adjunct instructor to teach an Education Technology course beginning in the spring, 2026 term.

Class : EDU 140 / Intro to Educational Technology

Location : Face-to-Face at the home campus in Plymouth, Wisconsin

Schedule : Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 1 : 25 – 2 : 20 p.m.

Course Description : Addresses the fundamentals of educational technology and instructional design. Students will explore media, computers, and related technologies as they relate to the classroom setting. Students will explore and evaluate how, when, and where technology should be integrated in the classroom. Pre-requisites : none.

Semester Hours : 3

Candidates should possess, at minimum, a Master's degree in Educational Technology, a Wisconsin teaching license; and relevant teaching experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Teach undergraduate courses in education.
• Work with full-time faculty and deans to understand and employ activities that meet course learning objectives.
• Administer and / or develop coursework (assignments, projects, in-class learning activities, exams) that meets and assesses course learning objectives.
• Respond in a timely manner to calls or emails from students, colleagues, or supervisors.
• Use university technology as directed.
