Description :

Start ASAP with weekly starts.

Shifts are 12-hour days from 0700 to 1930.

Guaranteed hours per week : 36.

Weekend requirement : Yes.

Float requirement : As needed within skillset.

Common diagnoses and treatments include stroke, altered mental status, alcohol withdrawal, sepsis, pneumonia, post cardiac catheterization, post craniotomy, and post ICU care.

The unit includes 31 beds.

The nurse to patient ratio is 1 : 3 in the PCU and 1 : 4 in telemetry.

Charting is done using Cerner.

Scrub color is any color.

Areas of float support are within scope.

Special procedures may be required.
