This supports functions of the stroke program and its leaders. Maintains the stroke infrastructure, coordinates a variety of program components, schedules a variety of activities, participates in program meetings, prepares needed documents, and provides administrative support on a system level.

Education

Required - High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred - Associate's degree.

Work Experience

  • Required - 5 years of business experience at an administrative level;

2 years business of experience at an administrative level with a bachelor's degree.

Preferred - Experience with accreditation or certification processes.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and public relation skills and ability to be self-directed and function independently as well as in a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to focus on multiple tasks at the same time and function calmly in a pressure situation..
  • Ability to find creative solutions to challenges.
  • Job Duties

  • Maintains the stroke program infrastructure.
  • Provides system level administrative support for the stroke program and its leaders.
  • Effectively schedules and coordinates meetings.
  • Executes the patient satisfaction / perception of care aspect of the program.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
