Job Description :

The IT Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the information technology systems and infrastructure of Ballinger Memorial Hospital District's hospital and clinic. This full-time position is responsible for a variety of technical duties including managing work orders, supporting the phone and camera systems, handling patch management, and ensuring the functionality of network systems.

Additional responsibilities include image deployment, mobile device management (MDM), inventory oversight, and backup systems management. The Specialist also ensures the security and reliability of systems through antivirus updates and the Kaspersky Security Center.

The successful candidate will be available for on-call responsibilities after hours and on weekends, demonstrate a strong understanding of general IT system operations, and be capable of working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support for hospital and clinic IT systems.
• Manage and respond to work orders in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain and troubleshoot camera and phone systems.
• Perform patch management and provide network support.
• Oversee image deployment and manage MDM and inventory systems.
• Monitor and maintain the backup system to ensure data security and integrity.
• Ensure regular antivirus and security updates via Kaspersky Security Center.
• Be available for on-call support during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Operate and maintain electronic data processing equipment efficiently.
