About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Development Officer to join their team. This key leadership role is focused on driving all fundraising and business development activities, with a strong emphasis on forging new relationships to enhance the organization's visibility, impact, and financial resources. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to design and implement a comprehensive development strategy, including the cultivation of individual and philanthropic support, and the establishment of infrastructure for major gifts, grants, and corporate and foundation support. The Chief Development Officer will also be responsible for setting and achieving yearly partnership and fundraising goals, as well as collaborating with the executive team to expand the donor base and secure funding for new initiatives. Applicants for the Chief Development Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years' experience in nonprofit fundraising and business development. The role requires a proven track record in enhancing financial growth and sustainability, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a problem solver, and a decision-maker, with a strong focus on execution and accountability.
