Occupational Therapist – Travel Position

Location : Westminster, CO

Job Type : Travel Contract

Pay : $2,045 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a facility in Westminster, CO, on a travel contract. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, focusing on improving independence in daily living skills, functional mobility, and overall quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, adaptable, and experienced in rehabilitation care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, mobility training, coordination, and strengthening exercises.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, adaptive techniques, and home programs.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes accurately and in compliance with facility standards.
• Collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, and speech therapy staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Promote safety, independence, and recovery through evidence-based occupational therapy practices.
