Xylem is seeking a highly skilled and experienced

  • Senior Machine Assembler
  • to join our
  • second shift team
  • We’re looking for mechanically minded individuals with hands-on trade experience - mechanics ,
  • plumbers
  • electricians , carpenters
  • or anyone skilled
  • in reading technical diagrams like P&IDs.
  • This role involvesassembling equipment. Experience withcar repair,plumbing,carpentry, or
  • industrial systems
  • is a strong plus.

This role is responsible for the assembly, plumbing, and mechanical integration of complex machinery and custom equipment. As a key contributor to our manufacturing operations, the Senior Machine Builder plays a vital role in ensuring that machines are assembled to exacting standards, meeting both customer specifications and internal quality expectations. This position requires advanced technical expertise, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to lead or mentor others on the floor.

Responsibilities

  • Assembly : 🔧 Bend / manipulate air lines, assemble conduit and wiring, and build complex machinery.
  • Blueprints : 🔍 Read and interpret blueprints as required.
  • Issue Resolution : 🛠️ Identify root causes of issues, communicate them to the team, and initiate action plans to resolve problems.
  • Quality Checks : 📝 Perform quality checks per work instructions and understand established quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement : 🚀Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including root cause analysis, lean manufacturing efforts, and process optimization.

    • Qualifications :

  • Education : 🎓 High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience : 🛠️Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machine building, plumbing, mechanical assembly, or a related field - preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Skills : 🔧 Proficient in the use of hand tools, MS Office products, and ERP systems

    • Pay rate : $20-22 / hr (+10% differential)
