LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care MD in California!

About The Position

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 24-week locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role features a two-day schedule : Fridays from 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. Candidates must speak Spanish and be paneled with CA Medical and ORP. The ideal provider has experience in rural health, a commitment to preventative care, and an understanding of quality metrics.

  • Schedule : Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 10am-2pm

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver primary care following FQHC principles in a rural health setting
  • Address three or more patient complaints per visit as needed
  • Implement and monitor preventative care strategies
  • Apply knowledge of quality metrics to patient care
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients

  • Spanish language proficiency required
