Four (4) years demonstrated experience supervising content development and integration efforts. Four (4) years demonstrated experience using XML authoring tool sets. Experience using browser-based languages including Extensible Markup Language (XML), Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML), JavaScript and Cascading Style Sheets. Demonstrated ability to interpret operational / maintenance manuals and operational procedures for Navigation systems. Direct experience with development of Navigation systems technical documentation products. Demonstrated communication, planning, and organizational skills. Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance.

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Writer / Editor to join our dynamic team. You will take on a leadership role and be responsible for updating, developing and producing technical documents to include interactive / online technical documentation using browser-based languages training products. Individual may train and be assisted by lower level technical writers.
This position is contingent upon award news Spring of 2026.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and update operational procedures, detailed descriptions of navigation hardware and software components, and an interactive online help feature.
- Maintain technical files in a knowledge-based repository.
- Develop and manage content for IETMs, including online help features as required / needed. Content encompasses documentation and procedures outlining the system level operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with and / or train technical writers and subject matter experts to create technical documentation, including manuals, user guides, and maintenance instructions.
