Job Title : Accounting & Payroll Administrator – Construction / Davis-Bacon Compliance

Location : Bluffdale, UT | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Position Overview

Our growing construction company is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Accounting & Payroll Administrator to join our team in Bluffdale. This temp-to-hire role is perfect for career-minded professionals looking for a long-term opportunity to grow within a stable company.

The ideal candidate will have experience with construction payroll, certified payroll reporting, and Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage compliance. Familiarity with construction-focused payroll or accounting systems (such as Foundation, Deltek ComputerEase, Sage, Spectrum, Vista, hh2, or LCPtracker) is highly preferred.

What You’ll Do

Process weekly and bi-weekly employee payroll accurately and confidentially, including multi-state and certified payroll for Davis-Bacon compliance.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing.

Reconcile financial records and support month-end reporting.

Maintain compliance with state and federal payroll requirements.

Assist with job cost tracking and other accounting tasks specific to construction projects.

Collaborate closely with management and field staff to support financial operations.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of combined payroll and accounting experience, preferably in construction.

Strong knowledge of payroll laws, accounting principles, and Davis-Bacon / prevailing wage requirements.

Experience with construction payroll / accounting software (Foundation, Deltek ComputerEase, Sage, Spectrum, Vista, hh2, LCPtracker, or similar).

Stable work history demonstrating reliability and long-term career commitment.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Team-oriented, proactive problem-solver.

Bilingual Spanish skills a plus.
