Peoplesoft Developer (Austin)

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer (Benefits & Pension Administration) for a hybrid contract role in Austin, Texas .

Responsibilities :

This role performs highly advanced PeopleSoft systems analysis and programming duties within the PeopleSoft Benefits Administration and Pension Administration modules. Work involves extensive data research and creating data mapping rules from PeopleSoft to a new system. Additional responsibilities include analyzing user requirements and business processes, supporting system integration, writing and debugging complex PeopleSoft programs, designing technical solutions, preparing documentation, and assisting team members with mapping, testing, and development. The position also requires participation in design review meetings, estimating work items, providing technical guidance, integrating PeopleSoft applications with third-party systems via web services, and supporting implementation activities. Regular attendance, compliance with agency policies, and participation in after-hours or on-call work may be required.

Minimum Qualifications :

• 6+ years of experience with PeopleSoft PeopleTools development
• 3+ years experience with PeopleSoft Benefits Administration and Pension Administration
• 3+ years of experience using SQL with an Oracle database
• 3+ years of extensive experience writing SQR programs and PeopleSoft PeopleCode
• 3+ years of experience conducting in-depth data analysis
• 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Application Engine programming
• 1+ year of previous experience with PeopleSoft XML Publisher
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, Base Benefits, core HR functionality, and Financial systems
• Considerable experience with SQL (Oracle), SQR programming, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and XML Publisher
• Ability to create flow diagrams, handle multiple projects, design technical systems, interpret PeopleSoft-related technical information, and perform advanced problem-solving
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the agency
• Ability to lead design review meetings and document minutes
