Job Summary :

Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and / or mammography equipment. Supervises and mentors technologists and other modality personnel. Oversees quality assurance and maintains equipment. Acts as an expert clinician who demonstrates a high level of knowledge / expertise, and is a leader / resource to the healthcare team. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis.
