Job Description

Position requires a person that has initiative, is a team player and can multitask.

Job Duties :

  • Reading and understanding electrical schematic / wiring diagrams as in related to cable assemblies and electrical enclosures.
  • Preparation of complete labor and material estimates for industrial and government projects.
  • Prepare bills of material and other information for use by purchasing.
  • Data Entry
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Close coordination with Project Management.
  • Additional duties as determined by Chief Estimator

Preferred Job Requirements :

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field desirable but not essential
  • 3+ years estimating experience
  • Depth of knowledge with a wide variety electrical materials
  • Strong Organizational and Leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a part of the team
