Communications Technology Manager

ABM is seeking a forward-thinking creative and bold Internal Communications Manager to join our Communications team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Executive and Strategic Communications this high-profile role will serve as the dedicated communications partner for ABMs Technology Transformation and Procurement functionswith primary focus on the Technology organization.

Embedded within the Technology organization this role is expected to integrate with teams and work closely with leaders to fly alongside them as they develop and deploy new technologies offerings and transformation initiatives. A key function is to maintain clear timely and actionable communications related to changes downtime interruptions and deployments. By being deeply familiar with technology initiatives this role will anticipate communications needs and proactively support adoption alignment and engagement across ABM.

You will work closely with ABMs Chief Information Officer Chief Information Security Officer and other Technology leaders to shape and deliver communications that engage align and inspire team members. This is a critical role during an enterprise-wide digital transformation designed to elevate technology streamline processes and drive digital adoption.

As part of ABMs talented and experienced Communications team youll collaborate with colleagues across internal external and brand communications to package and share progress growth and new offerings from Technology Innovation and Transformation. This content will be leveraged not only internally but also externally to support Sales Marketing Learning & Development client engagement retention and business development.

What Youll Do

Strategic Communications Partnership

• Serve as the lead communications advisor for the CIO and Technology leadership team with additional support for Procurement and Transformation leaders.
• Act as a thought partner to senior technology executives contributing new ideas and strategies to elevate communication impact.
• Develop and execute communications strategies that clarify technology priorities enable transformation initiatives and drive adoption of enterprise platforms.
• Translate complex technical topicsincluding IT roadmaps cybersecurity applications and process modernizationinto clear compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
• Build productive relationships across the Technology organization and ABM enterprise to strengthen alignment and engagement.
• Provide issues management business continuity and crisis communications support in partnership with the CIO CISO and IT leadership including availability for urgent communications needs outside of standard business hours.
