Friday Availability for at least one evening until 9 : 00PM SUMMARYFamily Service League is seeking a full-time Social Worker for our Mental Health Clinic in Central Islip. The Social Worker will provide evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy and crisis intervention to children, families and adults with a full range of DSM diagnoses in a clinic setting, including co-occuring disorders. Services are delivered in a trauma informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Prior experience diagnosing using the DSM V and experience with behavioral / therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults preferred. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records, are required.Ability to work both independently, as well as on a team is required.Strong judgement and problem solving skills and understanding of boundaries are required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
