The Faculty Employment Coordinator assists with the successful recruitment of faculty. This job coordinates all aspects of faculty recruiting to ensure candidates are introduced to the organization in a professional and positive manner. This job interacts with Department / Divisional Chairs Offices, Human Resources, School of Medicine, MCVP and other Department Chair Offices and Health System Leadership.
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire : N / ALicensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for continued employment : N / AExperience REQUIRED : Minimum of five (5) years Human Resources or customer service, secretarial / administrative experience Previous experience using a personal computer and Microsoft Office applications and e-mail calendaringExperience PREFERRED : Six (6) years of previous Human Resourcesor customer service, secretarial / administrative work Previous Human Resource experience in an academic or hospital setting One (1) year of previous experience in recruitment supportEducation / training REQUIRED : High School Diploma or equivalentEducation / training PREFERRED : Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or closely related field from an accredited programIndependent action(s) required : Coordination of interview and recruitment related activities for faculty candidates who are identified and interviewed.
