Job Summary and Responsibilities

Performs maintenance service and repairs of buildings equipment and grounds in order to provide a safe functional and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients staff and visitors. The responsibilities include those of general maintenance (i.e. carpentry painting electrical plumbing equipment maintenance and safety testing). Will provide excellent customer services when working with patients visitors and other staff members.

• Constructs and repairs various items (i.e.; building woodwork windows ceiling tiles walls / floors cabinets counter tops doors office furniture and chairs).
• Performs a variety of general maintenance repair overhaul and construction duties.
• Performs minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Inspects and performs repairs on Life Safety components (i.e.; fire / smoke wall doors exit corridors exit stairs & chute doors).
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and meets all applicable codes.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day qualified candidates will need the following :

Physical Requirement - Medium Work - exert / lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally and / or up to 20 lbs. frequently and / or up to 10 lbs. constantly
