Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH is working with an exciting client that is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist in Manhattan. This open ended contract role is ideal for someone with strong AP experience, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, and payment execution
• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions and ensure timely filing
• Collaborate with internal departments to address invoice or payment issues
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting
