The expected salary for this position is 101,151.33. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table. This position may include membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.

Position description

We are currently accepting applications for a Breast Imaging fellowship position in the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, for the academic year 2027-2028.

A one-year fellowship is offered and based at UC Irvine Medical Center and will have the benefits and privileges of this position through the University of California, Irvine. Training will include both screening and diagnostic interpretation as well as breast MRI and interventional procedures, including ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI guided biopsies.

The University of California, Irvine Medical Center is a 411-bed tertiary and quaternary care hospital with all residences. UCIMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center in urban Orange County. Applicants must be American Board of Radiology certified or eligible as well as be currently in or have completed a four year ACGME recognized Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. Successful applicants will be Health Sciences Clinical Instructors in the School of Medicine and will actively participate in the teaching of UC Irvine residents and medical students, as well as participate in several interdisciplinary conferences.
