WAREHOUSE MANAGER - OPERATIONS DETAILS :

Role : You'll be working full-time .

Location : Boston, MA

  • WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :

    Our Warehouse Manager - Operations directs our day-to-day operations, ensures procedural compliance, and divvies up workloads to keep employees productive without being overwhelmed. As problems come up, you'll coordinate with supervisors, HR staff, and branch managers to appropriately address and resolve the issue. Here's what your role looks like :

    • Training employees and supervisors on safety, operations, and compliance procedures
    • Fostering communication between supervisors and employees
    • Overseeing team members as they complete their duties and conducting performance reviews to help them improve
    • Planning workloads, delegating tasks, and stepping in yourself to cover various positions or shifts as needed
    • Reviewing and approving payroll
    • Implementing new operational procedures
    • Solving problems, supporting efficient workflow, and taking on responsibilities as needed to make every day great

    • DOT card or ability to obtain one
    • Ability to lead by example
    • Ability to understand an AX system and train others
    • Ability to multi-task and keep up with a fast-paced environment
    • Familiarity with current routes
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
    • Excellent English reading, writing, and speaking skills
    • High school degree or equivalent
    • Valid, current driver's license
    • Physical ability to lift 75 lbs.

      MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT

      This role may involve the operation of certain pieces of Material Handling Equipment (MHE). The company supplies and mandates training and certification on each individual piece of equipment prior to permissible use. Use of any equipment by an employee on which they are not trained and certified may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
