Community Employment - Job Coach

Job Coach's support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I / DD) who have job's in the community. They assist with communication, building work appropriate relationships, and coordinating supports an individual might need around activities of daily living. Personal Support Workers role model work appropriate behavior and assist with task analysis and accommodations. The position is part-time with varying hours including weekends and evenings and must have on-call availability

Status : Part Time 15 to 29 Hours

Location : Salem

Work hours : The position is part-time with varying hours

Starting Wage : $20.14 an hour

Wage Scale : $20.14 to $24.50

Qualifications :

• High School graduate or equivalent, with at least 1 year experience in providing training or supports to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities seeking employment and / or job skills training.
• Preference given to those with experience providing job coaching assistance and knowledge of local public transportation systems.
