Program Finance Analyst

CACI is seeking an exceptionally motivated individual to fill an associate program analyst position within our MSC N7 management group. This individual will assist the organization's management team in executing one large DoD contract supplying engineering services and support to Military Sealift Command (MSC). This position will require the individual to learn the intricacies of DoD contracting, customer engagement, and organizational management. The program analyst will work closely with members of the organization's management team on business operations including personnel management, process management, procurement, and program execution.

As a member of the PMO team, the program analyst will support various tasks, unique and recurring in nature, and critical to the success of the organization. This analyst will have sole responsibility for specific team functions, while providing a supporting role in others. Tasks are primarily focused on program financial management and this role is responsible for support of program business and functional operations. Responsible for supporting the Program Manager and Financial Project Manager in executing, monitoring one or more aspects of the program.

Responsibilities :

  • Work with the Program Manager and Financial Project Manager to oversee monitor financial performance of entire contract portfolio.
  • Compile spend plans, create financial forecasts, correct expensing issues, and identify and communicate funding needs to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in the management of a portfolio of subcontractors providing technical support to DoD customers
  • Track subcontractor funding, expenditures, project status, reporting, and deliverables.
  • Work with the subcontracts administrator to initiate subcontracting actions with teammates and track purchase orders.
  • Assist in development of statements of work, developing Request for Quote documentation, and coordinate requests for contract authorizations
  • Support monthly financial reporting by assisting with the maintenance of templates and serve in a backup capacity for monthly report creation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years' of related finance experience of which 2 years are in DOD contracting financial performance.
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (e.g. pivot tables)
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Desired :

  • Background in advanced STEM or financial mathematics
  • Experience working within a DoD contracting and funding environment
  • Visual Studio Code or Python experience

    There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is : $57,500-$117,900
