Industrial Electrician Service Tech

Job Description : Responsibilities :

• Troubleshooting and Diagnosis : Utilize test equipment and software to diagnose malfunctions in industrial equipment. Apply in-depth knowledge of electronic units, systems, and programs to identify and resolve issues.
• Inspection and Quality Control : Conduct thorough inspections of industrial equipment components to verify accurate assembly, installation, and the absence of defects like loose connections or frayed wires.
• Installation and Setup : Install repaired equipment in various industrial settings. Collaborate with equipment operators to identify problems and determine whether they are mechanical or human-caused.
• Technical Documentation and Procedures : Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to understand and follow installation procedures. Set up and test industrial equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Maintenance and Repair : Repair or adjust defective equipment, machines, or components. Replace worn parts, such as gaskets or seals in watertight electrical equipment.
• Record Keeping : Maintain detailed equipment logs and work orders documenting performance problems, repairs, calibrations, and tests.
• Calibration : Calibrate testing instruments and installed or repaired equipment according to prescribed specifications.
• Inventory Management : Adhere to inventory control procedures and PO / Job#s.
