As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail distribution location in Lacey, WA, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a secure environment for staff and visitors. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizing entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Document and report all incidents, observations, and / or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence at the location.

Assist with crowd control and / or traffic direction as necessary within the retail distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements :

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
