Commercial Business Development Manager

Overview

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for solving complex client challenges and delivering impactful solutions? Join our team as a Business Development Executive and take the lead in expanding our footprint across commercial and industrial markets. This role focuses on developing new accounts within a defined territory, offering a full suite of Onsite Facility Services including Cleaning, Environmental, Parking, and Engineering .

You’ll work closely with prospective clients to assess their current facility service programs, identify opportunities for improvement, and craft tailored strategies that may include individual services or bundled solutions. Partnering with ABM operations, you’ll help deliver superior results while owning the strategic sales process, communicating value, resolving client concerns, and building lasting relationships. You’ll also have the opportunity to cross-sell across eight comprehensive lines of facility services .

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect for new business through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
• Identify and qualify potential clients to drive business growth.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities within your territory.
• Leverage your professional network to meet and engage potential clients.
• Conduct site surveys to understand customer needs and pain points.
• Collaborate with operations and sales support teams to develop customized proposals.
• Participate in pricing strategies to ensure competitive and value-driven solutions.
• Navigate objections and guide prospects to positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate reporting of leads, active prospects, and forecasts in Salesforce.
• Set and meet sales targets through strategic planning and execution.
• Track account activity and support deal closure to achieve goals.
• Represent the company at industry events such as CREW and BOMA International .
• Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
