Telemetry Technician, Float Pool

Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Telemetry Technician position is to be under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse, assisting in the performance of clinical and technical procedures which contribute to the care of the adult telemetry monitored patient (age 17 to maturity).

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent. CPR Certification required. Three (3) to six (6) months of the healthcare experience or training in the use of electrocardiograph equipment. Successful completion of a program in the specialty. Prior experience in the reading of EKG strips
