Equipment Delivery Driver I

The Driver I is responsible for driving a class 6 open-deck truck with the capacity of up to 12,000 pounds to transport machinery and materials to and from specified destinations. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Drive an open-deck haul truck with 2-axles.
• Haul machines that weigh up to 12,000 pounds in high traffic or congested city zones and small areas in accordance to all city, state, federal and company policies, procedures and / or regulations.
• Receive dispatches, load and secure equipment, transport equipment and effectively report the status of all loads through our technology devices.
• Properly and effectively conduct pre and post trip inspections and report any deficiencies through the driver-vehicle inspection report.
• Ensure that all cargo is secure according to FMCSA and Warren CAT requirements.
• Operate all construction equipment.
• Maintain electronic log, according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintain communication with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding customers and store operations.
• Work with customers and vendors frequently.
• Assist with Yard duties.
